After Carolina ruined a great parlay on Friday night we look to get back on track here with a little EPL action come Sunday morning. Lets get right into it.
Sunderland v. Manchester City (@Stadium of Light; Sunderland, U.K.)
In what should be an easy victory with an insane line for Manchester city I want to specifically target a first half victory here. After Sergio Aguero (who is a complete terrorizer of a forward) came off last game playing the best soccer he has yet this season I see no reason why Man City can’t get out to an early lead on a team that has been down at half in 4 of their last 6 matches (all being against much weaker teams than Man City). 8 times this year out of the 9 when an opponent has scored first v. this weak Sunderland side it has been within the first 45 mins. Man City leads the league in first half goals as the away team, has won their last 6 matches v. Sunderland AND has been leading at both half and full time in the last 4 of those matches. Sunderland’s goal differential in the first half as the home team is 4GF to 11GA (worst in the entire Premiere League). The last 5 times these clubs have met, Man City has reigned victorious scoring an impressive 14 goals across those fixtures. Look for Man City to strike quick to relieve some pressure off the bat in what is looking to be a lopsided affair.
PICK: Manchester City first half win. (-155)
